Alyssa Moreno
Associate Marriage & Family Therapist | AMFT #151085 - she/her/hers
Supervised by Sara Capella, LMFT #84296

Finding a therapist can be exhausting when you have to spend the first few sessions explaining your identity, your diagnosis, or why "just try harder" doesn't work for you. Alyssa's clients often come to her because they want someone who already understands.
Alyssa specializes in hoarding, anxiety, and depression. Hoarding is something many people carry in silence, weighed down by shame and overwhelm. Alyssa approaches it with patience, zero judgment, and practical steps that feel doable. She also works extensively with LGBTQIA+ individuals, neurodivergent adults, women, and men, and with people managing the emotional toll of chronic illness.
She also works with high achievers running on empty. She helps them move out of burnout by setting boundaries that fit their real lives, not an idealized routine they can't keep up. Her approach adapts to the person. Strategies are built around your energy levels, your cognitive style, and what's actually sustainable, so progress lasts.
