Joella Ochs
Associate Marriage & Family Therapist | AMFT #1506415
Supervised by Sara Capella, LMFT #84296

Wanting things to change and actually changing them can feel like two very different things. That in-between space can be uncomfortable, but it's often where real growth begins. Joella helps young people and their families move through it with support instead of alone.
Joella specializes in children, adolescents, and young adults. She helps with anxiety, depression, ADHD, OCD, low self-esteem, impulsive or challenging behaviors, relationship struggles, and major life changes. She also has experience with more complex concerns, including substance use, self-harm, and emotional patterns that feel hard to control.
Her approach is integrative. Rather than fitting everyone into a single method, she draws on a range of evidence-based techniques and adjusts them to each client's age, personality, and goals. Above all, she works to create a space where clients feel safe enough to be honest about what they're thinking and feeling, because that's where progress starts.
Joella earned her graduate degree from Pepperdine University.
