Maycie Cereghino
Associate Marriage & Family Therapist | AMFT #165078
Supervised by Lisa Ianiro, LMFT #146123

Being a teenager or young adult today is a lot: pressure at school, figuring out friendships and relationships, questions about who you are and where you're headed, and the feeling that everyone else has it figured out. Maycie remembers what those years felt like, and she creates a space where clients can be honest about what's really going on.
She specializes in anxiety, young adulthood, and life transitions, such as starting high school, leaving for college, or figuring out what comes after. She also works with depression, burnout, perfectionism, OCD, self-esteem, body image, emotional regulation, school stress, and relationships. She offers LGBTQ+-affirming care.
Maycie draws on CBT, DBT, ACT, and mindfulness-based approaches. The goal isn't to make stress disappear, since life doesn't work that way. It's to build real skills for facing hard things instead of avoiding them: calming an anxious mind, getting through big emotions, and responding to setbacks with more self-compassion. Sessions move at your pace, and you're a full partner in the process.
Maycie earned her M.A. in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University and her B.A. in Psychology from UC Santa Cruz.
