Tabitha Pangalangan
Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist | LMFT #164901

Sometimes the most helpful thing in therapy is finally understanding what's happening inside you. Why anxiety spikes at the worst moments, why motivation disappears, why an old experience still feels so present. Tabitha brings a science-informed approach, drawing on neuroscience and psychology to help clients make sense of their experience. That understanding often takes away a lot of the shame and confusion.
She works with teens and adults facing life transitions, anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, low self-esteem, academic pressure, relationship struggles, and low motivation. She also has experience with more complex concerns, including dissociation, co-occurring mental health and substance use, and experiences of abuse. She also works with first responders and veterans.
Her style is client-centered and flexible. Some days that means learning concrete coping skills. Other days it means processing emotions, working toward goals, or simply having a safe space to talk. Clients can expect empathy, no judgment, and a plan built around them.
Tabitha holds a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Dayton. She is a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist in California.
